When this route is the right one

You hold GRAM in a TON wallet — from a Telegram app, a payment, a game — and need dollars where they are easiest to spend: a T… address on TRON for an invoice, an exchange deposit or a balance you will move again. Your wallet may still show the coin as TON or Toncoin; it was renamed Gram on 15 June 2026 and nothing but the name changed (checked on 11 October 2026).

TON and TRON are unrelated networks. The GRAM is received at a one-time TON address, confirmed twice — about 2–5 minutes with processing — and USDT is transferred on TRON to the address you gave.

What happens, in order

  1. Enter the GRAM amount and your TRON address

Paste the 34-character T… address that should receive USDT. The estimate is in USDT.

  2. Send GRAM to the deposit address

You get a one-time TON address (UQ… or EQ…). Send GRAM — the native coin, not a jetton — from any TON wallet. Leave the comment empty unless the page shows one to include.

  3. TON confirms

2 confirmations, a matter of seconds. The USDT amount is fixed then.

  4. USDT is paid out on TRON

The status page links the Tronscan transaction that credits your T… address.

Before you send — checklist

  • The receiving address is a TRON address: 34 characters starting with T.
  • If it belongs to an exchange, the deposit page says USDT on TRON (TRC-20).
  • You are sending GRAM, the native coin. USDT on TON is a jetton — a different asset — and sending it to the deposit address does not start this swap.
  • The receiving wallet will have a little TRX or energy before you move the USDT on.
  • You saved the status link.

The two mistakes that cost money on this route

Sending the TON jetton version of USDT

Many TON wallets hold GRAM and USDT side by side. This route takes GRAM. A jetton transfer to the deposit address is a different asset on a different contract, and it will not be counted; you will need support and the hash to sort it out.

Confusing the name with a new coin

An exchange may still call the coin TON or Toncoin; a wallet may already say Gram. These are the same coin on the same chain with the same balance. Withdraw it under whatever name the exchange uses; do not look for a separate GRAM listing to convert to first.

Other ways to make the same move

WayWhat you needWhere it is slower or dearer
An exchange accountAn account, a GRAM deposit with the exchange's memo, a sale, a TRC-20 withdrawalThe memo must be right on the way in; two waits; a withdrawal fee

What is visible on-chain

Tonscan shows your wallet sending GRAM to the deposit address, with the amount, the time and the comment if any. Tronscan shows a USDT transfer from a payout address to your T… address with the amount. Both are public; neither chain records a connection to the other.

FAQ

How long does it take?

About 2–5 minutes. TON confirms the deposit in seconds and TRON confirms the payout in seconds; most of the time is processing.

Do I add a comment or memo to the deposit?

The deposit address is created for this swap alone, so no comment is needed to identify you. If the swap page shows a memo next to the deposit address, include it; otherwise leave the comment field empty.

My wallet says Toncoin. Is that the coin to send?

Yes. Toncoin and Gram are one coin; the rename took effect on 15 June 2026 and changed only the name, the ticker and the logo. Checked on 11 October 2026.

Can I withdraw GRAM from an exchange straight to the deposit address?

Yes, on the TON network. Exchanges deduct their withdrawal fee, so withdraw slightly more than the figure on this page.

What is the minimum?

It is shown under the amount field and follows the GRAM price and the TRON fee.

What if the swap cannot be completed?

Write to support with the swap ID from the status page. The form has no refund address: a swap that cannot be completed is handled by hand, and a return to the address you sent from is arranged under the partner's rules, less the network fee.
