# What a swap costs

All fees are included in the estimate. One rate and one network fee, both shown before you send.

## All fees included.

The estimate in the form is the whole price: the rate already carries our margin and the cost of liquidity, and the payout network fee is shown and subtracted before you send. Nothing is added on top of "You get".

## The payout network fee.

Charged by the receiving network, shown in the form and already subtracted from "You get".

## Your wallet's sending fee.

Paid by you to the network you send from. It is not part of the swap and we do not see it.

## Why small swaps cost more in percent

The payout network fee is the same size for a small swap as for a large one.

## Where to see the real number

Once the live quote loads, each pair page shows a block called "What this swap costs right now": what you send, what arrives and the network fee that was taken out.

## Why the payout can differ from the estimate

The rate floats until your deposit confirms. On a fast network the estimate and the payout stay close; on Bitcoin or Monero the wait is longer and the market has more room to move. The amount you receive is fixed at the moment of confirmation, at the rate in force then, and the status page shows it.

## Which side pays what

You pay your wallet's fee to send the deposit; that fee never reaches us. The payout network fee is paid out of the swap and is the number shown in the form. If the receiver is an exchange, its own deposit rules and minimums are a third thing, set by the exchange, not by the swap.

## Before you send: the three numbers to check

The amount you send, the "You get" figure, and the minimum for the route. If "You get" is less than the receiver must have, raise the amount until it is not. A deposit below the minimum is not processed automatically and has to be returned by hand, less the network fee.
